About the Maths PAL/PASS Network
We are a network for staff who coordinate peer-support (often called PAL or PASS) schemes at UKHEIs for Mathematics students. Our aim is to provide a platform for sharing challenges, good practice, and organising meetings of the network.
The network has members from over 20 institutions across England, Wales and Scotland. Some members run established peer-support schemes that have been around for many years, while others are just starting out and looking for advice and support. The network is open to anyone interested in the coordination of peer-support schemes in mathematics, including academic and professional services staff, as well as any interested students.
We meet online twice a year to discuss issues and share experiences related to peer-support schemes in mathematics. Between meetings, we communicate via email and our mailing list MATHS-PAL-PASS-NETWORK@JISCMAIL.AC.UK.
Network steering group
The steering group is responsible for the overall direction of the Maths PAL/PASS Network. The group meets regularly to discuss the network's progress and future plans.
